Overview

FAXport IP Fax Messaging system allows users from their desktop and anywhere on the network - to prepare, preview, send, and receive faxes.  Through integrating FAXport with e-mail and the most common applications, FAXport becomes a part of everyday activities. FAXport is a feature-rich technology that provides economical network faxing capabilities and improved productivity, eliminating the need for dedicated fax machines and phone lines.

Sending a fax is as easy as sending e-mail – No need for user training. To send a fax from Outlook, the user needs to enter a plane fax number in the "To" field, or chose a fax number from the address book - no need to enter special signs with the fax number. Same message can be sent simultaneously by fax and e-mail.

Fax status in real-time – The user can monitor the status of his faxes in real-time.

Supports All Exchange and Lotus Notes Versions - The V10.01 Exchange connector was designed to support automatically current versions of Exchange, old versions, and future versions - there is no need to make any changes to FAXport, when the Exchange server version changes.

Inbound faxing and Routing Dialed Number ID (DNIS) and DID support, routes incoming faxes directly to the recipients’ desktops. This allows the user to get secure faxes anywhere, anytime, any place, and on any device. Inbound faxes benefit the user tremendously!

FAXport SAP & Oracle Application Connector - The FAXport Connector for SAP & Oracle Application enables SAP & Oracle customers to send and receive documents directly from those environments, via fax, email or the Internet, directly from the SAP & Oracle applications. It provides automated, unattended fax delivery of mission-critical documents from virtually all SAP & Oracle applications, an immediate or scheduled delivery to take advantage of reduced phone rates, message tracking, notification and delivery status within SAP & Oracle solutions, and Wireless access to fax and email. A generic connector TRANSport is available for other applications and legacy environments as: OpenVMS, AS400, Unix & Linux, Mainframe, and DOS.

E-mail Connector

FAXport e-mail Connector - FAXport e-mail connector supports any Exchange version (5.5, 2000, 2003), and any Lotus Notes/Domino version. The new connector supports current versions, old versions, and will support future versions of Exchange. This is helpful to FAXport customers - when upgrading their e-mail environments; they will not need to make any changes to FAXport. FAXport 4 Exchange does not require user training - to send a fax from Outlook, the user needs to enter a plane fax number in the "To" field, or chose a fax number from the address book - no need to enter special signs with the fax number.
